Dr. S Kanimozhi, Dean of Administration is an esteemed academic leader with more than 25 years of experience in academic leadership roles. She is heading the Post Graduate Research Department of Microbiology. She holds a Ph.D. in Life Science and rendered research guidance for numerous students.With a profound commitment to higher education and a track record of success, she plays a pivotal role in overseeing the administrative operations and strategic direction of the college. With her strategic acumen, she navigates complex challenges, makes informed decisions, and implement solutions that align with the college’s goals and objectives.

Dr. S. Kanimozhi is a frequent presenter at national and international science conferences, where she shares her research findings and engages in scholarly discussions. She facilitates internships, guest lectures, value added programs and diploma courses and industrial visits, allowing students to gain practical exposure and develop professional networks.She has served as a member of Board of Studies of various colleges, Doctoral Committee of various universities, Subject Expert for Curriculum designing and revamping the UG and PG Syllabi of TANSCHE, Staff Selection Committee and Inspection Committee of University of Madras. Her academic role revolves as a chairperson, judge, resource person, consultant, academic auditor of various colleges and universities.

She has received numerous accolades and awards, including the Bharat Ratna APJ Abdul Kalam Award, Fellowship award of Indian Association of Applied Microbiologists, Women Achiever’s Award and many national awards for the best paper presentation in the National and International Conferences.

As the Dean of Administration, she is responsible for managing a wide range of administrative functions, including budgeting, resource allocation, human resources management, facilities management, and maintenance and upgrading of the infrastructure of the college. She plays a key role throughout the academic year by directing and supervising all the mega programs and functions organised by the college. She possesses a keen ability to lead teams, foster collaboration, and drive organizational excellence. She values transparency, integrity, and open communication, fostering a culture of trust and accountability within the college.
